The Alaska Board of Pharmacy is the official licensing board for pharmacy technicians in the state of Alaska. Currently, the Board requires that technicians must completed a requisite training program and, once the candidate is approved to work as a pharmacy technician, they are obligated to wear a tag identifying their professional position in the pharmacy.
To prepare for the PTCB exam and receive a pharmacy tech license, candidates must first register with the Alaska Board of Pharmacy. Candidates are required to pay the mandatory application fee and submit all required documents to the state board. Competition for places within the Alaska pharmacy tech is currently high and candidates are encouraged to submit their application to meet the growing demand for this profession.
